Mudita Chauhan-Mubayi is a popular book editor, food writer, and founder-director of Quizcraft Global, a pioneer in India's niche knowledge industry. Mudita's repertoire is a layered blend of skills from media, publishing, sustainability research, food exploration, travelogues, quiz branding, social media, and volunteer work. Social media regulars know her as the committed administrator of popular quizzing pages whysoQrious and QuizCraft. A student of literature and journalism, she counts among her treasured experiences an interview of His Holiness the Dalai Lama; her role in creating Terrapin, a children's environmental books imprint; wordplay sessions with her husband and daughters; and, in 2010, the sunny smiles of the cloudburst-hit Ladakhis for who she and her team carried relief materials across broken bridges, shattered hopes. She engages in socially conscious initiatives for literacy and female empowerment. With roots in the Himachal and Uttarakhand regions, Mudita is committed to their enrichment in every way.
Mudita's maternal grandfather, Shri Bhakt Darshan, was a deeply respected figure in the literary community of Garhwal-Kumaon. He authored the 2-volume "Garhwal Ki Divangat Vibhootiyan" after his stints at Kanpur University as Vice-Chancellor; founding member of the Hindi Sansthan and the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan; and of course his successful run as Minister of State for Education in Indira Gandhi's cabinet.
